What a great weekend!

Wow, what a weekend. BJ and I got a little taste this weekend of what the years to come may be like. It was great but boy was I exhausted.
Friday afternoon I got off, ran some errands and headed to get the boys from Day Care. I just love picking them up from Day Care. Even though they are there with my mom when they see someone coming to get them they get so excited and I can't wait to experience that everyday with my kids. They came running, dirty and sweaty ready to see what was next! Turner couldn't wait to get to the house to show Uncle BJ that he had brought his ball and glove. We played a little game of baseball in the backyard (I was telling BJ it's so funny b/c that was one of my favorite childhood memories playing baseball in the backyard with my older brothers and their friends (when they would let me of course)...even with the ghostmen..haha..when I heard Turner say ghostman on frist! it just made me smile) We had Roxie helping me and Cole cheat a little. She didn't really like that she couldn't get the ball every time and a few times she ran with it, but it's okay b/c Cole did too, HAHA. Then they watched some cartoons while B and I caught our breath and headed out for supper. Which they did great.
They did good during the night. We had one instance with Cole falling out of the bed (don't freak it was our guest bed and it is very low to the ground) he's such a wild sleeper he managed to fall between the wall and the bed but went right back to sleep after getting in the bed with me. BJ left at 4 am for work. About an hour later Cole said Aunt Katie I ready to get up, I said no baby it's still night time and he said ok and went right back to sleep. About an hour later I wake up to Turner standing over me telling me he's lonely and wants to get in with us...come on in! Needless to say an hour later and they had cartoons on. After me getting ready and getting them ready we headed out for our day! We went to Augusta to Monkey Joe's. It was quite an experience but boy did they love it. I just loved seeing Cole's face coming down the huge slide with the big kids. They had so much fun and although I was a nervous wreck most of the time about someone getting hurt, it was really fun. When we left Turner said Aunt Katie you think next time we come we'll bring your baby? I told him babies weren't allowed and he said maybe you can leave him home with somebody and take us :) Another funny thing was when Cole was holding my drink for me and he took a sip and Turner yells NO COLE you can't drink that Aunt Katie's pregnant!! I guess he thought it was contagious! We hit up Chick Fil A and headed to Ava's birthday party. The boys were excited when they saw another jumping house thing. It did not phase them one bit that they didn't know a sole there. We didn't stay too long but enjoyed it while we were there. We got home and the boys played some more baseball w/ BJ while I rested..(I was pooped) Then we went swimming at Bubba's until their mom and dad came.
Yesterday we went to church with Trey and Mindy then went to see Ms. Karen and spent hours looking over baby pictures of BJ. MY OH MY!!! Let me tell you. My mom has pictures of us all over and BJ is always talking about how "not cute" I was...well let me tell you I'm sad to say that was the first time I've seen any of BJ's baby pictures and boy oh boy I know why he didn't want me to see him. Let's just say we hope Baby E looks like Mommy!!! Him with his curly red hair...my, my he sure is much cuter now! (I'll be sure to scan one that I took that was one of the cuter ones.) Unfortunately I didn't get to spend Mother's Day with my mom. She's too busy living up Las Vegas with grandma, eating desserts, shopping, sitting by the pool and seeing shows. I'll let her slide this year since she's spending it with her mom. I can only hope that I'll get to do that one day. All day yesterday I couldn't help but think about all the mom's that mean so much to me. It's still a little hard to grasp that next year on mother's day I'll be holding my sweet baby that I asked Him for. I seriously cannot WAIT!!! As many people told me over the weekend that this was my "first" mother's day, I got lots of calls, texts, facebook messages, even gifts and cards yet I can't imagine what it will be like next year.
Lastly, while in church yesterday the preacher of course was preaching about mom's and their duties and such. We came across a verse that pretty much sums it up...1 Samuel 1:27 I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I have asked of him. It also states you shall name him Samuel....guess what I have been telling BJ I want our baby's middle name to be???? I felt like He was talking to me.
