It's A ____!

On Friday, February 15th, husband, big brother and I loaded up and went for our ultrasound.  As soon as the baby popped up on the screen, I nudged BJ and said "It's a ___!" a few seconds later the sonographer confirmed what I though I had seen and we were on our way.  I, of course wanted to talk about baby names the rest of the evening.
From the time we left our ultrasound to the time our gender reveal party started the following day, our phones were blowing up with people wanting to know.  What didn't they understand about the gender reveal party?!?

 Frogs and snails and puppy dog tails.  That's what little BOYS are made of.  IT'S A BOY!!!!

We can't wait to meet Jackson Reid Ehrhardt "Jax" in July! 

Davis kept a secret!

In November we found out that we would be welcoming a new baby in July 2013.  We did such a good job at keeping a secret.  On Christmas day Davis wore the above shirt to all of our Christmas celebrations to tell the good news.  At 12 weeks we posted this picture on facebook to tell everyone else.  Next Friday, February 15th, we go for our gender ultrasound and the following evening we are having a gender reveal party.  We are so excited and can't wait to find out the sex.  I'm really feeling that we're having a boy but BJ is convinced otherwise.  Davis thinks he is getting a baby sister too!  Hopefully I will be better about posting our progress.
